What is Credit4Work!?

Credit4Work! is a financial wellness program for employees that provides financial literacy training coupled with opportunities to improve credit profiles, and access to personal loans. We are based in Florida and originate loans nationwide through our partnership with Medallion Bank, member FDIC. We believe that if you have a stable job, you should have access to reasonably priced credit. Credit4Work! offers eligible employees: (1) credit-building/ monitoring/ reporting services, (2) safe, affordable, unsecured installment loans, (3) no-cost financial education programs through in-person and online workshops, and (4) referrals to resources like free tax preparation and financial coaching/counselling. Our services are delivered with speed, privacy, respect, and at no cost or risk to the sponsor employer.

Is Credit4Work! affiliated with my employer?

Your employer offers the Credit4Work! program as a part of your employee voluntary benefits package, but is not affiliated with Credit4Work! Credit4Work! helps you obtain the reasonably-priced credit you need today, and partners with your employer to have installment payments deducted directly from your paycheck.

How do I know if I am eligible for a loan?

We offer loans to benefits-eligible employees currently employed with a Credit4Work! employer partner. Other requirements include at least one year on the job, age of majority in your state of residence, and currently not in bankruptcy. The amount that you may qualify for will be based on your income, tenure and prior bankruptcy history. Loans originated by Medallion Bank, member FDIC. This is not a commitment to lend as credit is available to those who qualify.

What if my employer is not a Credit4Work! partner?

We would be happy to discuss a partnership with your employer – our voluntary benefit program comes at no cost.  Please put us in touch with your human resources department to further explore the option (contact us).

Does it cost anything to apply for a loan?

There is no application fee and it costs nothing to apply for a loan. Loans originated by Medallion Bank, subject to qualifying credit approval. Member FDIC.

Are there any hidden costs deducted from my loan proceeds?

No, there are no hidden fees or costs deducted from the loan proceeds. There is only one fee that ranges from $25 to $200, depending on your loan amount, that is payable from the loan proceeds, and it is only charged upon the funding of your loan.

How much can I borrow?

The amount that you can borrow is based on your income and your payroll schedule. During the application process, your available loan options will be clearly shown and you can choose what best fits your needs.

Can I pay off my loan early?

Yes, you can pay your loan off at any time without any penalties or fees. Simply log in to your account and request a payoff amount.

Can I have more than one loan at a time?

You can only have one loan outstanding at a time, but you can refinance your current loan up to three times per year if you need to borrow more money. Loans originated by Medallion Bank, subject to qualifying credit approval. Member FDIC.

Does my spouse need to sign my loan?

No, you are the only borrower on your loan, and no other person is needed to support your loan.

What happens if I take leave without pay?

If you miss payments due to unpaid leave while you are still employed, we encourage you to contact us in order to make your scheduled payments on your loan through other payment methods.

Where can I get my loan information, balance, activity, etc.?

Log in to your account at any time, or contact us.

Is my personal information secure?

Confidentiality and privacy are OUR NUMBER ONE PRIORITY. Our systems and website incorporate the highest security standards of data encryption, data privacy, rules based segregation of duties and rigorous ongoing monitoring.

What should I do if I receive a server error?

Make sure you are connected to Wi-Fi or your mobile service has internet access.
